Grant scores three goals

This morning Grant had a soccer game and scored three goals! He played soccer last spring and he was the youngest on the team. He almost scored a goal in the last game; it went just wide.

Today he had the ball come free from the pack while he was perfectly positioned in front the goal and kicked it in.

Then shortly after, he took the ball away from an opponent down on his own end, then dribbled between all of the other players and broke all the way down the field and put the ball into the goal.

The third goal was another one where the ball came free from the pack and to Grant, but near the sideline this time. He kicked it in from about 30 feet away. It was a great kick.

After all three goals, Grant just stood there and smiled and looked for me on the sideline. He was very happy with himself, and I was very proud of him! His team the Incredibles defeated the Strikers by about 15 goals, although I don't think anyone knows the actual final score. :)

Grant also celebrated his 5th birthday recently. He had a party at Chuck E. Cheese, and many of his friends came. Grant really enjoyed Skee-ball.
