Moving day

Monday the packers came and boxed up all of our belongings. We also closed on the sale of our house that day. We are leasing it back from the buyers for a few days. They have been very flexible, and that's made things a lot easier for us.

Tuesday we closed on the new house and got the keys! We spent much of Tuesday night sealing the grout on the tile floor, which is easier to do when there isn't any furniture in the way.

Today (Wednesday) the movers loaded all of our stuff into trucks and brought it over to the new place. We are still in boxes, but at least it's all here!

Tomorrow is our 10th wedding anniversary. To celebrate, we'll probably spend most of the day cleaning the old house :) Maybe we'll get to celebrate for real in a few days.

Grant seems excited about the new house. He has a lot of room to ride his Skuut in the driveway and in the garage.

Grant's Birthday Party...Andrew starting to crawl

Grant's 4th birthday was 2/27, and we had his party here at the house on Saturday. The theme was Lightning McQueen from the Cars movie. Lots of Grant's friends came to the party and brought all sorts of fun presents. We played musical chairs and "pin the headlight on Mater". Grandma Lenie and Grumps (and Sophie) came in, and Jimmy and Stacey came in after the party and spent most of the weekend with us.

On Sunday, Andrew started to crawl. He doesn't have it quite down yet, but he can move forward finally. I'll post some video of Andrew just starting to crawl and the Mater game to the Media area as soon as I can get it uploaded. In the meantime, here are some pictures.
